WBC Smart Repair Malta
1. Scope of Service
WBC Smart Repair specialises in cosmetic vehicle repairs, including suitable bumper scratches, alloy wheel damage, leather/interior repairs and other localised cosmetic damage. Repairs are accepted only where the damage is suitable for Smart Repair methods.
2. Vehicle Age Limitation
Vehicles older than 2015 may be refused. Due to Malta’s strong UV exposure, older paintwork may be faded, oxidised or damaged, making a reliable colour match or cosmetic repair result difficult or impossible.
3. Damage Size Limitation
Smart Repair is intended for damage up to approximately the size of one DIN A4 sheet. Damage exceeding this size may be rejected or may require traditional bodyshop repair.
4. Reasons for Refusal
WBC Smart Repair reserves the right to refuse any repair request, including but not limited to cases where:
- the damage exceeds DIN A4 size;
- the repair is not economically reasonable;
- the vehicle is too old or the paintwork is too faded;
- parts are cracked, broken, bent, deformed or structurally damaged;
- the uploaded images do not accurately show the damage;
- the repair is outside the scope of Smart Repair.
5. AI Price Estimate
The AI price estimator provides an indicative repair price based on the uploaded images and customer information. If only one damage area is uploaded and the photo clearly documents the damage, the estimate is usually highly accurate. However, the final price may change after physical inspection if the damage is larger, deeper, unclear, hidden, incorrectly documented or if additional damage is present.
6. One Damage Per Booking
One booking slot covers one damage area only. If a vehicle has multiple separate damages, each damage requires a separate estimate and booking. Additional damage discovered on-site may not be repaired within the same appointment.
7. Appointment Confirmation
After booking an appointment, the customer receives a confirmation email. The appointment is only final once confirmed through the confirmation email. Unconfirmed appointments may be released or cancelled.
8. Rescheduling and Cancellation
Customers may reschedule or cancel their appointment using the links provided in the confirmation email. WBC Smart Repair reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to operational reasons, unsuitable damage, late arrival or incomplete vehicle preparation.
9. Vehicle Condition Before Repair
Customers should bring a clean vehicle. If alloy wheels or repair areas are heavily dirty, additional cleaning fees may apply. For alloy wheel repairs, heavily dirty wheels may incur a cleaning fee of €6 per wheel.
10. Payment Terms
Payment is due directly upon collection of the vehicle. Accepted payment methods are Mastercard, Visa, Revolut, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Cash payments are not accepted.
11. Workshop-Based Service
WBC Smart Repair Malta is a workshop-based service. Repairs are not carried out as a mobile service. This ensures controlled lighting, preparation, equipment and quality standards.
12. Customer Vehicle Insurance
Customer vehicles are covered by additional insurance while in our care, subject to the terms, limits and exclusions of the applicable insurance policy. This coverage is intended to protect both the customer and WBC Smart Repair during the repair process.
13. Vehicle Cleanliness After Repair
WBC Smart Repair uses reasonable care to keep the vehicle clean, including protective seat covers where appropriate. Work is limited to the damaged repair area. Normal workshop dust or minor handling traces cannot be fully excluded.
14. Rental, Lease and Company Vehicles
WBC Smart Repair may repair rental cars, leased vehicles, company cars and fleet vehicles, provided the customer has the right to authorise the repair. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the repair is accepted by the rental, leasing or fleet company.
15. Colour Match and Finish
WBC Smart Repair aims to achieve a high-quality cosmetic result. Exact colour match cannot be guaranteed where paint is aged, faded, oxidised, previously repaired or affected by UV exposure. Minor differences in colour, gloss or texture may occur.
16. No Structural Repairs
WBC Smart Repair does not perform structural repairs, accident repairs, chassis repairs, airbag-related repairs or safety-critical repairs. Bent wheels, cracked parts, broken brackets and deformed panels may be rejected.
17. Liability Limitation
WBC Smart Repair is not liable for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, previous poor repairs, corrosion, paint failure, weak clear coat, aged materials or damage not caused by WBC Smart Repair. Liability is limited to direct damage proven to have been caused by our repair process.
18. Customer Information Accuracy
The customer is responsible for providing accurate vehicle details, damage descriptions and clear photos. Incorrect or incomplete information may lead to price changes, refusal of repair or cancellation of the appointment.
19. Collection and Payment
Vehicles must be collected at the agreed time unless otherwise arranged. Payment must be completed before the vehicle is released.
20. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malta.
